Saint John Nepomuk Chapel
Est. 1854

Welcome to Saint John Nepomuk, the oldest Czech Roman Catholic church in the New World.

Welcome to Saint John Nepomuk Chapel, the oldest Czech church in the New World.  Founded in 1854, Saint John’s has been serving Catholics in the historic Soulard area of Saint Louis for 162 years.  Today we embrace our Czech heritage but our church is attended by people of all backgrounds from all over the Metropolitan Saint Louis Area.

Please join us for the holy sacrifice of the mass Saturday afternoon at 4:30 or Sunday morning at 9:30.  All masses are celebrated in English with Czech hymns on Sunday morning.

FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN!  After centuries of waiting, a Savior is born.  The blessed Child arrives on December 25, Christmas.  Saint John Nepomuk Chapel is beautiful any time of the year, but it's especially beautiful during the Christmas season.

Join us for mass on Christmas, or any time during this holy season.

And from all of us at SJN, a very blessed and holy Christmas to you and your family!

Veselé Vánoce!
